Canter Design Limited is a boutique practice specialising in bespoke residential architecture.

 

We love design, we find beauty in almost anything, and we are perfectionists always questioning the status quo in the interest of finding the right solution. 

 

Working closely with our clients allows us to understand their requirements and to ensure we create more than just a building. We feel that architecture is not only about creating space - it’s about people’s relationship with space, the user experience.

 

Our design process is intensive, taking a multitude of factors into account, often leading to a complex concept that is then pared back to reveal the key elements, and ultimately a design solution that is elegant in its simplicity.

 

We believe that great design is both authentic and timeless. We strive to achieve this by delivering meaningful projects that are borne from natural materials and rooted in traditional methods, yet contemporary in their realisation.

 

With over 15 years of experience, we have extensive knowledge in both the practice of architecture and the challenges of life, which allows us to oversee our projects with a realistic and practical eye. 

 

We have completed projects around the globe, and with our base in Chelsea, we are well situated to manage projects across the UK and Europe.
